Wake Forest University has partnered with Genworth Life Insurance Company to provide long term care insurance, which is a benefit that covers expenses for services received at home, in the community, or in a nursing facility. As a Wake Forest University benefit eligible full-time or part-time faculty or staff member, you can elect this coverage at competitive group rates. There is no underwriting if you are a benefit eligible full or part-time faculty or staff member, actively-at-work, under the age of 66, and apply during this enrollment period. After this enrollment period, only new hires or newly benefit eligible faculty and staff will receive certain guaranteed issues during their first 30 days. Coverage under this program is portable, so it can move with you if you change jobs, retire or leave the university.

Cancelling a Policy
If you would like cancel your long term care policy with Genworth Life Insurance Company, you will need to submit a written request to them. You may mail the request to Genworth Life Insurance Company P.O. Box 64010 St. Paul, MN 55164-0010 or fax it to 952-833-5410.
