Free Flu Shots
Wake Forest University will be offering free flu shots to all faculty, staff, and retirees from September 17 to October 3. Spouses and dependent children (8 years and older), who are enrolled in the University’s medical plan are also eligible. WFU will not be offering a drive-through flu shot clinic this year.
Flu Shot Clinic Dates
Wake Forest offers free flu shot clinics on and near the Reynolda Campus. Registration will close one business day prior to the clinic date.

Frequently Asked Questions
All faculty, staff, and retirees – regardless of insurance provider – are eligible to receive a WFU-sponsored flu shot. Spouses and dependent children (8 years and older) on the university’s medical plan are also eligible.
If you registered for a flu shot appointment and never received a confirmation email, first confirm that the email was not sent to your spam folder. If the confirmation email is not there, call 743.230.8342 for assistance.
The confirmation email you received will include a link to reschedule or cancel your appointment. If you never received a confirmation email, call 743.230.8342 for assistance.
Students should contact Deacon Health for information about flu shots.
Reminders
- Faculty, staff, and retirees should bring their Deacon OneCard.
- Spouses and dependent children should bring their insurance card.
- Wear clothing that allows easy access to the upper arm.
- All vaccines are latex and preservative free in single dose prefilled syringes.
