2026 Tailgates and Touchdowns with Staff and Faculty

Wake Forest Football kicked off its 2026 season against Akron on Sept. 3 with the annual Faculty and Staff Appreciation Tailgate, inviting employees to gather for pre-game festivities and complimentary tickets.

This tailgate was hosted in partnership with Human Resources, the Office of the Provost, and Athletics to recognize the time and talent of Wake Forest faculty and staff. Before the game at Allegacy Financial Stadium, faculty, staff, and their families gathered at the David F. Couch Ballpark for food and camaraderie. Coming off the most successful first season by a head coach in program history, Coach Dickert led the Demon Deacons to a 38-16 win. Many thanks to everyone who helped make the evening a success. Go, Deacs!
