Simplify your search with HR’s new Learn and Earn job board

Human Resources is excited to announce refreshed student employment webpages and a new Learn and Earn job board, all designed to streamline the hiring process and improve the visibility of open student positions across the University. The centralized hub is one convenient location for faculty and staff to connect with talented student candidates.

“The new Learn and Earn job board represents HR’s ongoing commitment to providing campus supervisors with the most efficient tools possible for student hiring. By building upon our established system, we’ve created an experience that helps faculty and staff find the right student candidates quickly so that they can maintain focus on other important work,” says Melanie Hylton, Manager of Student Employment.

The web pages are now available, and the job board is open for faculty and staff to begin posting positions. While it will officially launch to students in April, supervisors are encouraged to visit the job board today and explore the new four-step workflow to create, prepare, post, and close openings.

Human Resources will offer both virtual and in-person education sessions, outlined below, to help supervisors get used to the process. These sessions are designed to help departments with existing hiring practices — as well as those without an established system — navigate the new student employment hub and follow the updated standard hiring process. Faculty and staff are invited to register to learn more about time-saving resources in HR’s Job Description Toolkit and new ready-to-use application templates.
