Rula – a Tailored Behavioral Health Experience
Wake Forest University has partnered with Rula to provide you and/or your family members with easy access to high-quality in-network behavioral health providers that fits your needs and schedule.
- Rapid Access: Make an appointment in just a few minutes and meet with a provider in as little as 48 hours.
- Preferences: You can select a provider based on specialty, gender, race, language, treatment approach, and day/time, making your experience tailored to your needs.
- Insurance: Rula is in-network with WFU insurance and copays are only $15.
- Convenience: Rula is a virtual behavioral health support program allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your home or anywhere.

- Behavioral Health Condition Management Program: Advocacy that helps high-risk members and caregivers access and actively engage in treatment and services. The goal is to attain lasting treatment outcomes and healthy behavior change. Call 800.424.4660, option 2.
- Adolescent Outreach Program: Offers direct telephonic outreach and support to parents and/or caregivers of adolescents who are at the highest risk of self-harm; ages 13 to 17.
- Talk Saves LivesTM: An hour-long educational presentation providing participants with an introduction to suicide prevention. Developed by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
- Vita Health: Vita Health offers a 12-week outpatient specialty program for suicide prevention. It’s delivered virtually and also offers an app for extra support. For more information, visit the website or call the number on your Aetna® member ID card.
- Guardian Angel Program: Supports members struggling with opioid use disorder and those who recently survived an overdose. Works with them to get the treatment they need to recover, and connects them with local resources to help reduce the risk of another overdose.
- Charlie Health: Personalized virtual and in-person intensive therapy for teens and young adults with severe behavioral health issues and substance use disorders, as well as their families; ages 12 to 28.
- Talkiatry: National and regional partners provide online face-to-face behavioral wellbeing outpatient counseling and medication management; ages 5 and older.
- Shatterproof ATLAS: Shatterproof is dedicated to reversing the addiction crisis in our country. Their tool ATLAS:
- provides an evidenced-based needs assessment tool
- evaluates addiction treatment facilities use of evidence-based practices
- allows patients to see and provide feedback on their experience

- Eleanor Health: Eleanor Health delivers complete behavioral health and substance use disorder care virtually, at home, or in clinics. Their Behavioral Health Medical Home program offers convenient support and medication-assisted treatment, along with help for people with physical health conditions. - Workit Health: Workit Health’s online treatment program offers personalized, convenient therapy, coaching, medication-assisted treatment, digital learning, and peer support. Their programs bring personalized treatment and seamless care right to your fingertips with an app. For more information, visit the website or call 877.777.2671.
- Array AtHome: Array AtHome provides timely behavioral health services when and where you need it most. A remote team of highly qualified behavioral health clinicians provide virtual behavioral wellbeing outpatient counseling and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. - Telemynd: Telemynd is an easy-to-use, virtual behavioral health platform where you can find the care that’s right for you, whether that’s occasional support or more targeted, longer-term care. Plus, you can access a range of behavioral health services, from talk therapy to medication management and more. For more information, visit the website.
- Brightside: Brightside is an online therapy platform designed to help people who are experiencing issues related to anxiety and depression. For more information, visit the website or call 415.360.3348.
- NOCD: NOCD provides virtual obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) therapy sessions with licensed therapists. They specialize in OCD and offer 24/7 support between sessions from self-help tools and peer communities. For more information, visit the website or call the number on your Aetna® member ID card.
- Valera Health: Valera Health offers telephone, chat, and video therapy support and medication management. They focus on children in treatment for mild to severe behavioral health illness as well as offer support for parents. - Equip Health: Virtual treatment for people with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and atypical eating disorders. Equip Health treats all diagnoses, helping people achieve full health and recovery; ages 4 to 26. Call 855.387.4378.
- Meru Health: 12-week digital therapy program proven to reduce depression and anxiety. Combines evidence-based therapies, lifestyle science, and wearable biofeedback; ages 18 and older.
- Grow Therapy: A hybrid telemedicine and face-to-face provider for behavioral wellbeing outpatient counseling and medication management; ages 6 and older.
- Autism Support: Clinicians specializing in autism spectrum disorders (ASD) support members and their families by finding resources and oversee the integration of related benefits. The most effective therapy considered for this condition is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). They will help connect you with national services and treatment. - Maxim Healthcare Services: Home health providers that offers Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy both virtually and in person; ages 18 months to 18 years.
The EAP is a confidential, free resource with trained counselors who provide (336.716.5493):
- Professional assessment, referral, and follow-up services for personal/emotional concerns
- Workplace problem identification and consultation
- Access to the behavioral health system
