Update (4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2): The ​OptumRx ​retail network disruption issue has now been resolved. Members with open inquiries can return to their retail pharmacy or call their retail pharmacy to have their prescriptions reprocessed. ​On behalf of OptumRx, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. 

The following message was sent to WFU BCBS medical plan participants. 

Human Resources is aware of a technical issue with our pharmacy provider, OptumRx, that is causing issues with refilling prescriptions at retail pharmacies. OptumRx is working diligently to resolve this issue. If you have an urgent need to obtain a prescription at a retail pharmacy today, please contact askHR@wfu.edu or (336) 758-4700 for assistance. If you are able to wait until the technical issue is resolved, please do so.
