Welcome Artisha Tyson, HR Specialist

Human Resources is excited to welcome Artisha Tyson as an HR Specialist. As part of the HR Solutions team, Artisha will consult with campus partners for all pre-employment, hiring, job changes, and related HCM workflow requests submitted through Workday. She will also work closely with our Compensation team in reviewing and approving general compensation requests.

Artisha comes to Wake Forest with most recent experience as a human resources benefits specialist with Pilgrims/JBS in South Carolina. Prior to that, she was a service and sales representative with First Citizens Bank for four years and a teller with South State Bank for two years.

Artisha describes herself as a motivated self-starter comfortable working in an environment with competing priorities. She is energetic and a strong communicator with a deep interest in human resources, having received a Bachelor’s degree in general studies, with a concentration in HR, from Southern New Hampshire University last year.
