The Health Care FSA allows you to set aside pre-tax money to pay for eligible health care expenses that are not covered by your medical, dental or vision plans. For plan year 2012 – 2013, up to $2,500 per employee can be set aside to reimburse yourself for eligible expenses from July 1 – June 30. You must re-elect Health Care FSA each year or it will automatically terminate.
Eligible expenses may include:
- Office co-payments
- Prescription drug co-payments
- Co-insurance
- Out-of-pocket maximums for you and your eligible dependents.
