Child Care Resources

The Work Family Resource Center helps faculty and staff identify child care options (e.g., daycares and nannies) through telephone referral services. Additionally, the Center may provide the following written information on child care providers who meet all applicable state and local standards:

  • Name of contact person
  • Description of type of care provided
  • Vacancies
  • Licensing status
  • Affiliation
  • Accreditation
  • Availability of services for children with special needs.

Bright Horizons Child Care Center at Wake Forest Baptist Health

Bright Horizons provides child care to the local community, with priority enrollment given to faculty and staff at Wake Forest Baptist Health and Wake Forest University. The Center is a 5-star child care facility, the highest achievement in North Carolina, and serves infants through pre-Kindergarten children. The Early Learning Center at Winston Salem Christian School

The Early Learning Center at Winston Salem Christian School (WSCS) is a year-round, full-time daycare program that offers a quality academic program to children from 12 months through 5 years of age. The Center is part of WSCS, a private Christian school on the campus of WinstonSalemFirst, located across the street from Wake Forest University’s Reynolda Road entrance. The $75 registration fee is waived for Wake Forest faculty and staff, who can learn more by calling 336.759.7762.
